We have decided to spend couple of days in city on water - Amsterdam. Since it was my first visit in Netherlands, I was really excited.

Itinerary:

Day 1 - Vondelpark, city centre, Heineken brouwery

Day 2 - Zaanse Schans

Day 3 - Amsterdam ArenA , boat ride

Day 1 - Vondelpark, city centre, Heineken brouwery

We have spent first day wandering through the centre. Amsterdam has unique atmosphere thanks to its narrow canals. That was the thing that got me the most. Thanks to warm summer weather we could have enjoyed our time in Vondelpark that was perfect start of our visit in Amsterdam.

After spending some time outside, we needed proper refreshment. And the best option was to visit Heineken brouwery. It is miles away from just boring museum, it is very interactive and modern.

DAY 2 - Zaanse Schans

This day we went for a trip outside from Amsterdam to Zaanse Schans. It is area with collection of historic windmills and houses typical for Netherlands. You can visit clog and cheese museum as well.

DAY 3 - Amsterdam ArenA , boat ride

If you are football fan, visiting Amsterdam ArenA is a must. Home of Ajax Amsterdam is quite modern and has capacity around 50 000 people.

We have finished our trip to Amsterdam with a boat ride through its canals. I can really recommend this way of exploring the city, because it offers many and many different angles of Amsterdam and you can see the beauty of the city at its fullest.
